2019 HealthyJoCo Community Projects Funding Awarded

The Community Health Division of Johnson County Public Health (JCPH) selected four awardees for their HealthyJoCo Community Projects Funding opportunity. The funding is provided to non-profit and governmental entities for project support related to priority areas identified through the JCPH Health Improvement Plan. Awardees were selected through a competitive process and JCPH looks forward to offering this funding annually to local community partners. The 2019 awardees are:

  • CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank for their project “Retaining Suicide Prevention Counselors and Providers in Johnson County through Self-care”
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for their project “Immediate Relief for Victims of Domestic Violence in Johnson County”
  • Iowa City Free Medical and Dental Clinic for their project “Dental Care at the Iowa City Free Clinic”
  • Shelter House for their project “Shelter House Health Clinic Revitalization- Phase 2”
