The free summer lunch program for any child age 1-18 will continue for over two more weeks at the Iowa City Senior Center.  Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Senior Center, 28 S. Linn St., until Wed. Aug. 21, 2019. In May, the City announced a collaboration with Horizons and the Iowa City Community School District to provide free meals and snacks to any child age 1-18 at three area locations during summer: Mercer Park Aquatic Center, the Iowa City Public Library, and the Senior Center.  The Library and Mercer have completed their free lunch service for the season.  There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 1 to 18 may come eat for free. Adult meals are available for $4 each.
