The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded a $4.2 million grant to the University of Iowa. This grant will be used over the next 5 years to continue the Injury Prevention Research Center (IPRC) in the College of Public Health.

University of Iowa Iowa researchers who are members of the IPRC work to identify risks and factors that present opportunities for injury and violence prevention strategies, and they develop and evaluate interventions and methods to turn those interventions into public action.
