A few states are being consulted by the CDC about the few pulmonary illnesses related to e-cigarette product use or “vaping,” primarily among adolescents and young adults. There is no conclusive evidence that an infectious disease is causing the problem, however, research is being carried out to get more answers.

So far, there have been 94 possible cases of severe lung illnesses associated with e-cigarette product use reported by 14 states and information is still being updated as the investigation continues.
