School Districts Face No Punishment if they Allow Students without Vaccinations in School

The Iowa City Community School District stated that it lets students go to classes, even if they are not up to date with their vaccinations. However, Iowa’s state law requires students to be vaccinated in order to attend classes. Although this is the case, it was also found that there are no punishments for school districts that break this law.
