With the increase in chlamydia and syphilis in the state of Iowa, there has been an increase in advertisements to spark awareness for people in hope for them to get tested if they are sexually active. If someone is found to have contracted a sexually transmitted disease, they are asked who their past sexual partners have been to let them know that they could possibly be infected as well.
